NAME: How to Give a Cat a Colonic hoax

Hoax message looks like this:

IF YOU RECEIVE AN E-MAIL ENTITLED, "HOW TO GIVE A CAT A
 COLONIC," DO NOT OPEN IT!!!!!!!!
It will erase everything on your hard drive. Forward this letter
out to as many people as you can. This is a new, very malicious
virus and not many people know about it This information was
announced by IBM Please share it with everyone that might access
the Internet. Once again, pass this along to EVERYONE in your
address book so that this may be stopped. AOL has said that this
is a very dangerous virus and that there is NO remedy for it at
this time. Please practice cautionary measures and forward this
message to all your online friends ASAP.

Please ignore this message and don't pass it on.

I do not spread hoaxes! these pages are simply to inform other users that they are hoaxes. Please to not spread hoaxes.Hoax warnings are typically scare alerts started by malicious people - and passed on by innocent users who think they are helping the community by spreading the warning.

Do not forward hoax messages. there have been cases where e-mail systems have collapsed after dozens of users forwarded a false alert to everybody in the company. Corporate users can get rid of the hoax problem by simply setting a strict company guideline: End users must not forward virus alarms. Ever. If such message is received, end users could forward it to the IT department but not to anyone else.
